"O Lord, my God, I will give thanks to you forever."
Psalm 30:12 KJV
If you are looking for quality braids that are neat, unique and long lasting then Nana's Hair Braiding is where you need to go. Nana herself is a native African born in the Ivory Coast (West Africa). As a child Nana learned the age-old methods of braiding from her mother and grandmother. She was so eager to learn how to braid that when she could not find anyone to practice braiding on she would use the extension of plant fibers and cotton yarn. It is this determinate spirit and tirelessly exploring new techniques that has turned her into the brilliant artist she is today. Inspired by one of the most common of household fixtures of Abidjan, mat interwoven with both natural and plastic cords. Nana was the first to create the "debbe" or basket weave look. If imitation is the best compliment then she has already earned a nomination for a national award since the hallmark creation of hers is now turning heads all over the country. Her artistic talent continued to be evident while in the University of Abidjan where she began braiding the hair of her classmates to supplement her studies.
Years later after coming to America, she opened Nana's Hair Braiding Salon, the first beauty salon in Boston specializing only in braiding. She quickly became popular by word to mouth. All of her customers were so pleased that they started sending her their family or anyone who stopped them on the street for a compliment. Then local newspapers, local magazines, national and international beauty magazines, TV channels, etc., started to write articles about Nana's Hair Braiding. Nana's masterpieces have been proudly shown in international contests, celebrations, beauty fashion shows, etc. As time progressed, Nana began teaching braiding classes and eventually hired the braiders working for her. Today Nana's Hair Braiding is known to be the best hair braiding salon in Massachusetts were her braiders continue to exceed customer expectations.
"Nana currently owns a second salon in Fayetteville, North Carolina that specialize in African hair-braiding and weaving. To this day, she is still receiving calls from people around the world who desire her to expandher chain of hair-braiding salons to their respective countries. However, she has put off all of these offers for the sake of upholding her first priority: raising her children in a manner pleasing to the Lord Jesus Christ."
So when you come to Nana's Hair Braiding Salon always expect to get professional service, the best hair-do possible, a quick and efficient job, and a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere.
